From a Bead to a Bridge: Bestone Jewelry Connects the World at the Canton Fair

Which girl doesn’t love beauty? Pearls, gemstones, agate... Today, we visited a Hebei-based company that centers its business around "bead" elements to see how they turn overseas visitors into loyal friends.
At 11 a.m., Ms. Linda Guo, Chairwoman of Hebei Bestone Jewelry Co., Ltd., welcomed the first wave of visitors at her booth.
She shared that over the past 17 years, the company has grown from a small OEM workshop into a business that now independently develops its own products.
As the Canton Fair expanded, so did their sales scale — their products are now sold in over 50 countries and regions.

"The Canton Fair has witnessed the growth of Bestone over the years. We've built relationships with hundreds of clients, both big and small. We definitely wouldn't miss such an opportunity."
Grasping every opportunity, Ms. Guo proactively engaged visitors, starting with the most dazzling gemstones.
"We display our most beautiful products prominently on these prism stands, which naturally attract visitors to stop and look. That gives our sales team the perfect chance to approach and start a deeper conversation inside the booth, increasing the chances of closing deals — especially large orders," she explained.
A buyer from Canada shared:
"Both I and my customers love their gemstones. You know, girls always love fashionable things, and the quality here is really excellent. We plan to purchase a lot of their bracelets."
Building familiarity is only the first step. The real strategy lies in understanding customers' needs precisely and developing long-term partnerships. Every time Ms. Guo meets a client, she pulls out a notebook to jot down detailed notes.

"We record the samples they select, product codes, and the quotations discussed. Our design team also sends one or two representatives to each fair — they collect feedback directly on-site about their original designs. This helps us adjust quickly and boost the success rate of new products."
"For this session of the Canton Fair, we have 11 staff members attending in person, supported by more than 40 colleagues back at the company, all working across different stages to serve our clients comprehensively," she added.
Beyond meeting customers, inspiration is equally important. During a lunch break, Ms. Guo also attended the Canton Fair Design Innovation Award (CF Award) sharing forum.
